At Matta African Luxury Safaris, we are proud to say that our team have unrivalled knowledge of their destinations simply because they visit them so often, which surprisingly, is a rarity within our industry. Unlike so many tour operators, we are not driven by sending our clients to the wrong places in order to make a sale. Instead, we utilise that expert knowledge, to create tailor-made holidays with the aim of exceeding our client’s expectations. We take you where we have been, this includes the National Parks and hotels, in both urban and rural areas in each and every destination we sell. As they say… actions speak louder than words. So please do call us, ask us about our destinations, for inspiration and for ideas. I hope you will agree that we are passionate about what we do, and knowledgeable about what we deliver.
At Matta African Luxury Safaris, we do our best to simplify things for our customers by offering excellent customer support, having clear price structures and tailor-making recommendations for our itineraries based upon your preferences. We understand that our customers want to have as much information prior to and during their trip as possible, and so we are happy to speak to you at any time with question, however, we have put together a list of frequently asked questions and you can find these within each tour.
We are often asked about where to visit, e.g. "Should I visit Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara National Park? What is the best route to travel?"
The Northern Circuit is more popular because Serengeti National Park is one of the most well-known National Parks on Earth and Ngorongoro Crater is one of the new Wonders of the Natural World. On the other hand, the South has its special allure by being a more off-the-beaten-track circuit, with fewer tourists, amazing wildlife, a higher sense of wilderness and remoteness. Usually we recommend the Northern Circuit for travellers coming to Tanzania for the first time and recommend the Southern Circuit for those that have already been or who would particularly value the fact that the Southern Circuit will have fewer tourists and vehicles, and provide a more alternative itinerary. We also recommend the South to those landing in Dar es Salaam and only having a few days for the safari.
